Feminist Writing Community
In the spirit of feminist solidarity, accountability, and productivity, the Center hosts a variety of opportunities to write in community, carving out regular space and time to simply do the work.
The Center hosts a variety of opportunities for writers, scholars, and creatives to cultivate a sustainable writing practice with the support of feminist community. Writing retreats bookend the fall and spring semesters, providing time and space to ease into new projects; workshops and Pop-Up Write Togethers are offered throughout the year to hone skills and boost momentum; and weekly writing serve as consistent, focused bursts of time to work in the midst of hectic semester schedules. Our Writing Community is open to faculty, staff, graduate students, and Five College Women's Studies Research Center community members.
If you would like to join the Writing Community email group and stay informed about these opportunities, please register using the link below.

Pop-Up Write Togethers | Semesterly
Dates and locations to be announced via email!
The Center partners with departments and groups across the Five Colleges to host day-long Write Togethers for folks to dive into a longer block of writing, revision, project conceptualization—and to do so in good company. Writers and creatives are invited to bring their own lunch, and we have beverages and snacks on-hand. In addition to being announced via our mailing list, Pop-Up Write Togethers will be reflected on our Events page.
