Using readings, class discussions, small group activities, films & videos, and student-designed projects to explore theories of globalization; the global economy; political globalization; globalization and culture; environmental sustainability; local-global linkages; civil society, human rights, anti-globalization social movements; globalization and gender/race/ethnicity; and international migration.
