This is a team-based learning and flipped learning class. Lectures will be posted in Moodle. Students will complete OWL homework and will then attend a team based learning (TBL) section where they will work in teams on exercises that reinforce and apply the concepts from the lectures and homework exercises. The lectures and homework will be completed before attending the TBL section.

In addition to the TBL section, students will be required to attend weekly one-hour evening lab sessions with their assigned team throughout the term.

Students who are unable to enroll in this course because all sections are full can submit a RES-ECON waitlist request. The form can be found here: https://www.umass.edu/resource-economics/advising-0. Once the semester begins, students must contact the instructor to request permission to enroll.

Multiple required components--lab and/or discussion section. To register, submit requests for all components simultaneously.
Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
