Open to juniors and seniors with Informatics as their primary major who have completed ENGLWRIT 112 with a grade of C or better (or English Writing Exam waiver) and INFO 248. SATISFIES JUNIOR YEAR WRITING REQUIREMENT. ODD LECTURES FOR CS MAJORS; EVEN LECTURES FOR INFORM MAJORS. ELIGIBILITY LIMITED TO CS AND INFORM PRIMARY MAJORS ONLY. CS AND INFORM SECONDARY MAJORS MUST TAKE JUNIOR YEAR WRITING COURSE WITHIN PRIMARY MAJOR DEPARTMENT. LECT 01-02 MEET TOGETHER; LECT 03-04..., ETC. SPIRE WILL ONLY RECOGNIZE THE ENGLWRIT112 PREREQUISITE WHEN TAKEN AT UMASS AMHERST.
