An introduction to the interdisciplinary field of physical activity and public health. Topics will include the effects of physical activity on cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal, mental and cognitive health. Students will be introduced to physical activity measurement techniques and strategies for effective physical activity promotion.

Open to Senior and Junior Kinesiology majors only. KIN 100, 110, 247 w/ C- Enrollment will open to eligible Kinesiology juniors the Monday following pre-registration.

If class reaches enrollment capacity, students should add themselves to the SPIRE waitlist.

Permission is required for interchange registration during the add/drop period only.
