Come celebrate the creative community of Museums10. Learn about upcoming professional development opportunities and connect with fellow museum professionals. A plenary session and breakout groups will deepen our understanding of our work and help us discover ways to support each other. Enjoy refreshments and get creative with an art-making break!

  • Sustainable Practices in Collections Planning. Facilitated by Kristina Durocher, UMass Fine Arts Center Visual Arts Director.
  • Roundtable Discussion: K-12 field trips, 2025-2026. Facilitated by Courtney Waring, Director of Education, The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
  • Exhibiting and Interpreting Problematic Material. Facilitated by Lisa Crossman, Director of Curatorial Affairs; Maria Timina, Curator of Russian and European Art; and Sharon Liu, Curatorial Assistant, Mead Art Museum.
  • De-escalation Strategies & Front of House Meetup. Facilitated by Ann Mayo, Security Manager, Smith College Museum of Art; Megan Regan, Guest Service Manager, The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
  • Understanding Our Audiences: Marketing & Communications Discussion. Facilitated by Patrick Fecher, Associate Director of Communications, Emily Dickinson Museum.
