Special topics include speciation, functional adaptations, paleoenvironments, consideration of the earliest forms of life, and the record of extinctions. At least one weekend field trip. Prerequisite: 101, or 102, or 108, or FYS 103; open without prerequisite to majors in the biological sciences. |
